According to Nielsen, sales of meat snacks in North America—heavily driven by jerky products, of course—grew 15 percent from 2013 to 2014. That’s good, because now you have more choices than ever before, which include exotic meats, spices, and cuts. But that’s bad because there’s also a lot of crummy jerky on the market.
