But unlike that transition, loosing the Diwali hangover hanging over your waist belt will not be as easy. So pull up your socks and try out these home remedies to burn that belly fat before Christmas and New Year parties start lining up on your event calendar!


Winter is here and you just got one more reason to add cinnamon to your hot beverages. Cinnamon

powder helps burn body fat and pulls back the extra inches.

How: Add the desired amount of cinnamon powder to your food or drink.

Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate that has 70% or more cocoa content is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids that sate your hunger pangs and battles tummy fat on the side.

How: Don’t go overboard, just a few grams a day is enough to make you feel full.

Peanut Butter

Rich in proteins and fibers, peanut butter is loaded with monounsaturated fatty acids that help you suck in the paunch.

How: make it a regular inclusion in your meals.

Coconut Oil

The oil comprises of fatty acids that break down abdominal fat, increase the body’s metabolism and also makes you feel fuller for a longer duration.

Lemon Juice

How: Mix freshly squeezed lemon juice with lukewarm water and drink on an empty stomach. Do not follow up with anything solid for at least 30 minutes.
